Outsourcing

Image Information, Inc. provides the capability to completely outsource the entire process of image and data management.

Capture and Retrieval system procedures can be tailored to the client. Some clients may prefer to leave all of the procedures and personnel to Image Information, Inc. Others may elect to ship their documents to us for scanning, indexing, and storing at Image Information, Inc.'s site. Or, they can have Image Information, Inc. provide the necessary staff and equipment onsite to satisfy their EDMS needs.

For retrieval, smaller clients could request a document(s) over the phone via the Word Wide Web. Other clients could have a scan/input station at their location and access the service via phone line and a wide area network (wan), making the procedure completely automatic to the client.

The billing rates and procedures would depend on the volume of work the client did with us each month and would be controlled through monitoring software and the use of phone lines.

Small companies, who use Image Information, Inc.'s service as their document storage/retrieval system may grow to a point at which they can justify their own "in house" system. These companies could purchase systems from Image Information, Inc. as they are already trained on that system, and all of their existing documents are in that format, and on compatible media (optical disks or CD-ROM).

By cross utilizing the existing equipment in our sales and support offices, the "Meter Click" business allows Image Information, Inc. to provide EDMS products and services to any client at a value based price point based on their particular needs and requirements.

This same scenario is also the mechanism that provides for total outsourcing of the data entry and data management process. Fees would be charged to the client on a per transaction basis thus providing a "Fixed Cost" budget item for the client and relieving them of the employment burden. Because the Image Information, Inc. has a lower acquisition and maintenance cost of technology, and a single system can support multiple outsource clients, the company can provide Total Outsourced Process Transactions at a substantially reduced cost. Passing a portion of these savings on to its clients.
