Image Information, Inc. constructs its pricing at the line item level for our more sophisticated projects and solutions and offers bundled pricing for our ASP and smaller offerings. Our typical pricing consists of Application Software, Hardware, Project Services, (Installation, Training, Application Design & Development and Project Management), and ongoing Service and Support Agreements (SSA).
We submit Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for all software and hardware components. As Image Information, Inc. typically deals with large entities as well as small concerns, it is not uncommon for a client to have their own sources for hardware, or have purchase capability that exceeds our cost models and ability to provide hardware at a comparable price. Indeed, there have been cases where clients to Image Information, Inc. can purchase hardware products for less that we can obtain it. It is not the practice of Image Information, Inc. to discount hardware, as we do not have sufficient margin to justify this activity. We prefer that our clients purchase the system-related hardware from us for service and support issues as the relative delta in price over the scope of the entire project is usually negligible. This allows Image Information, Inc. to provide a more concise and effective support component to our clients. In the event the cost delta is sufficient to justify external hardware acquisition or corporate policy demands "best price" vendor bids, Image Information, Inc. can still provide First Call or Primary support for your system by increasing the Service and Support Agreement (SSA) by an additional 2%.
Installation fees are charged at a percentage of the hardware, software and application design & development cost. The cost of the system software, hardware and development costs are an indicator of the complexity of the system being implemented. By charging a fixed percentage of this cost, the client is protected from drawn out installations and shipping issues. Installation is billed once and is a fixed cost no matter how long or difficult the install may become. This places the performance and efficiency burden on Image Information, Inc. relative to installation. In the event a client determines to purchase their own hardware and desires Image Information, Inc. to install it with the system, we will use the MSRP of the appropriate hardware to determine our installation costs.
Training fees are indicated in our proposals. These fees are billed on an hourly basis and the amount in the initial proposal is our recommended minimum training component to assure project success in Phase 1. Additional training can be provided at the price schedules indicated in the proposal. Image Information, Inc. maintains a standard price list for our various services.
Project management is billed for the initial Phase 1 application at a percentage of the system cost. As with installation, this is to protect the client and provide incentive for Image Information, Inc. to be as efficient and productive as possible. This figure is for the management and oversight of the initial project application. This includes Pre-Implementation meetings, application design & development. Schedule maintenance and overall coordination of the project are encompassed in project management. Subsequent project management, application design and consulting is available on a cost per hour basis.
All Travel & Expenses are paid in addition to services provided by the client according to standard IRS accepted rules and regulations. Image Information, Inc. conducts it T&E practices based on standard IRS tables for such expenditure.
